Module taken in Sem 2, AY2015/16
Learning and Conditioning
Lecturer: Dr Trevor Penney
Lecturer Review: Dr. Penney is super hilarious and the lectures are very fun to attend. The module is a flipped classroom module so the lectures are usually filled with discussions and responses from the students (don’t expect to just receive information from the lecturer). Occasionally, there will be videos, but most of the time it will be examples of studies done in the behavioural psychology field.
Module Review: Overall, the module is quite content heavy, but the final exam is non-cumulative, which is not too bad. Concepts are easy to understand, even without the lecturer explaining them (the textbook is quite self-explanatory). Tutorials (1hr weekly) are also very fun, including doing conditioning experiments with snails
